I don't tag wrangle, but I think the problem is that you can't tell for sure from just the tag name whether it means the activity, as "male bonding" usually would, with any of these. Bonding could mean that also, or the special, often mystical connection type of story. I mean, someone could even tag a story in which A throws their two friends B and C together and forces them to get along "forced bonding", rather than have it mean that some alien dropped a mystical connection device or something. So if you want to wrangle the tag "bonding" at all I don't see how you can avoid it. (And now I wonder what happens to someone who tags their James Bond story just with "Bond"...)
