I adore this line, "Spock -- his Spock -- would have been..." because I get warm fuzzies with the idea of how well Sarek knows his Spock's habits.
This makes me sad: "you and I had a number of difficulties in our personal interaction. We never resolved them, and we were not close."
I love other parts to bits too. Sarek not wanting to remarry yet - or possibly ever. Spock telling him to meld and make sure that Spock understands his fully Vulcan children are not more cherished than his hybrid son.
Only thing is I have trouble with him weeping at the end. Being sad, upset, and emotional, no problem. Actually weeping, problem.
