I agree wholeheartedly. And you did it right -- I've read a dozen ST:Reboot fics tonight (erm, this morning), and I have a strong feeling that this is the one that will turn up in my dreams.

I like my aliens to be, y'know, alien, not just green humans with a catchphrase; startlingly few writers manage that. Kudos!
