I was recced this tale and I won't lie I was no disappointed. This was so haunting and beauiful. I loved how subtle, yet profound the Vulcan's pain was how they struggle to heal to find their place in this new home.

I really enjoyed seeing how Kirk and Nyota help Spock heal while respecting his privacy and need to heal his own way.
